Lantern Bible

When you create an account, we collect your name and email address through your chosen sign-in method (Google, Apple, or email). We store the data you create in the app — verse highlights, personal notes, and reading plan progress.

Your data is used solely to provide the app's features — specifically to sync your highlights, notes, and reading progress across your devices. We do not use your information for advertising, analytics, or any purpose beyond delivering the app's core functionality.

Your data is stored locally on your device and synced to Google Firebase (Firestore), a secure cloud database. Data is associated with your account and accessible only to you.

Lantern uses the following third-party services:

• Google Firebase — authentication and cloud storage (Google Privacy Policy)
• Google Sign-In — optional sign-in method
• Sign in with Apple — optional sign-in method

We do not sell, trade, or share your personal information with any third parties outside of the services listed above.

You may delete your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us. Uninstalling the app removes locally stored data from your device.

Lantern is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
